Getting Started at Mt. Baker CrossFit

Our facility is open to visitors during our normal business hours. Please feel free to stop by, check us out, ask questions and watch a workout any time.

Everyone receives their FIRST WORKOUT FREE!! Call, email or stop by to schedule your first appointment. After your first visit, you will experience one of two thoughts; You will either think, "Oh my goodness! This is it! I love it!"' or, you will run out screaming!

To Start:
You have two (2) choices.
*Begin with private personal training or enroll in our 'On Ramp' class.

*Our On Ramp class meets 3 days per week for 4 weeks. It is designed to eeeeaaaase you into our CrossFit community. In this class we will expose the newbie to our movement curriculum in a group format. Movement techniques will be drilled and you will be progressively introduced to the intensity levels that are inherent in our training program.

It has been said that CrossFit is 'potent medicine' and the best way to approach it is from a long slow 'on ramp'. Are you ready to 'merge' into the program?

*On Ramp classes are mandatory attendance, limited to 10 people, and passing a skills test is required for graduation.

During the 12 sessions, we will not only teach you how to move yourself and external objects, we'll also teach you why CrossFit works, how it works, and how we should be eating to fuel this type of activity and continue to live a healthy life.

Each session will include a warm-up, skill review and new skill demonstration and instruction, a workout, stretch and cool down and some conversation about nutrition, performance or a related CrossFit topic.

*The emphasis will always be on skill development and proper technique and form before intensity.
